The event, funded by South Lanarkshire Council was held in the Banqueting Hall, South Lanarkshire Council HQ, Hamilton.  Over one hundred Carers and staff attended.  Questions were asked via the Option Finder which gave instantaneous results.  Thereafter, workshops discussed various issues.  The speakers were Provost, Russell Clearie, Alan Lawrie, Director, Community Health Partnership and Harry Stevenson, Executive Director, Social Work Resource.

Practitioner's Event                                                                     An event, designed to improve communication between frontline practitioners and unpaid Carers was facilitated by South Lanarkshire Carers Network in partnership with South Lanarkshire Council.

In 2010/2011 South Lanarkshire Carers Network facilitates Information Roadshows alongside partners in South Lanarkshire Council, NHS Lanarkshire, Department of Works and Pensions, Police, Fire Service and also PRT Lanarkshire Carers Centre and others.
